WA Police remain on the scene after multiple people reported a fight in a Perth shopping centre which left a 20-year-old with a slash wound to the face.
Multiple people reported the fight at about 3:30pm on Friday, with authorities initially warning the public to stay away after a number of police resources were deployed to the scene in Perth's south-east. A statement released at about 6pm warned shoppers to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious behaviour as officers worked to ascertain whether there was danger to the public.
A short time later, however, police issued an update revealing they believed two men had become involved in an altercation, with one of the men arming himself with a knife.
