Voting on Stupid

. . It's a racist policy by design. Nobody is more or less Australian than me. Aboriginals are no more Aussie than me. I will VOTE NO for sure. . .

The ABC doesn’t know and no one will know until it’s outlined by the government.

Nobody has the guts to spell out in detail EXACTLY what we're being asked to vote on.... voteno

As the official spokesperson for ABC could you answer questions for all to read. It may be in the three submissions but most Australians don't have time to read them and absorb them. My first question is, who or what body will appoint the members of the voice?

They've made a great start in Alice Springs ABC...🍺😎🍹🍾

When you give one sector of the community different rights based on the colour of their skin, it is called apartheid. Who would have thought speaking up against apartheid anywhere in the world would be shouted down as racist. That is how far Australia has fallen.

1% unelected telling AUSTRALIANS!!!!!! What to do and how to do it….. sounds democratic to me…..🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕

We are voting on land taxes to be paid to first nation people by every land owner in this country. Careful what you vote for.

Who gets a voice though, actual aboriginals or the grifters that make all the noise and never achieve anything.

We're voting to install a permanent, unelected cabal of 'indigenous leaders' with the ability to propose and veto all manner of legislation. They will be picked and controlled by Mark Leibler. What's not to like?

Albo wants us to vote on the colour of our skin, to give a group in our community a higher standing that cause at times the most destruction.. hears a novel idea just make everyone equal no more special treatment no more special payments hold people accountable for there actions

The constitution is a rule book for governing. It serves all Australians equally. Singling out any group, no matter how well meaning, is repugnant. We have the same voice to parliament… one vote, one value. With the details hidden until after the vote, you’d be nuts to vote yes.

Apartheid Australia.

What we're really voting on is endless payments of reparations and the abolition of Australia day.

Vote No to race based amendment of our country’s Constitution.

You are voting on race based division It's racist

Racial segregation. VoteNo

imagine the pure cope and seethe if the vote is NO seriously a chance of lootin' and rioting

What we're voting on is adding something that could be legislated today into the constitution, there is no reason the voice can't be legislated now and once its shown to be beneficial and not ATSIC2.0 have the referendum to add it to the constitution.

Vote no on labor’s racist policies

Please can we just vote for the voice without all the hysterical nonsense -the sooner the better!

Why should anyone think that specifically singling out one race in the constitution is a good idea? They try to sell the story that it will help Aboriginal people, but that's a crock. And they have shown how they're supposed help as caused pain among Aboriginal people (re Alice)

Good to see OurABC taking a neutral stand, or god forbid celebrating, AustraliaDay. The sooner we DefundTheABC and make it a public focussed broadcaster for the people who pay the bills, again the better. Happy Australia Day!

VoteNo

Albanese to visit Alice Springs as crime crisis overshadows Voice to ParliamentThe Indigenous Voice to Parliament debate this week has been overshadowed by the spiralling crime crisis in Alice Springs, with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese set to visit the town today. Support for the Voice has dropped from 53 per cent at the end of last year to 47 per cent. Skills and Training Minister Brendan O’Connor suggests the crisis is a further reason to push the Voice, considering previous attempts in the past at reducing alcohol-fuelled violence have failed. If the referendum succeeds, it will be the fourth attempt in 50 years to establish a representative Indigenous body to advise the federal government, with one of the key criticisms of the proposal being the so-called lack of detail. Hope he reminds them he grew up in housing commission with a single mum. Then they'll know how tough life can be Of course, there are no voices in Alice Springs just those in Darwin and Canberra. 🙄😒🫤😏😟😩🥴😵‍💫

Dutton has ‘landed a few blows’ on issue of Voice to ParliamentOpposition Leader Peter Dutton has “landed a few blows” in the last few days on the issue of the Indigenous Voice to Parliament, Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says. Polling says otherwise. His history of racial dogwhistling during elections is well noted. Ole PeterDutton_MP although he has good intentions within his beliefs I assume, & with all respects has no qualities nor the face to be a leader of the opposition. Background & his voice itself is not appealing. People like sincerity not direct opinionated diatribe.

‘Oppose it on principle’: Andrew Bolt clashes with Peter Dutton on Voice to ParliamentSky News host Andrew Bolt has clashed with Opposition leader Peter Dutton over the Indigenous Voice to Parliament, questioning why the Liberal leader does not oppose it on “principle”. Mr Bolt said he does not know why the Liberals can’t say “no to racism”. “Nobody is in favour of racism in the Liberal Party and if they are they don’t have a place in our party,” Mr Dutton said. He said the Liberal Party is putting “appropriate pressure” on the government to release more information on the Voice to Parliament. “I think by the way in which we have entered this debate, as I say in a respectful way, we have said on behalf of millions of Australians, who may not be as adamant in their position as you (Andrew Bolt) are. “They want to hear that information, that they want the detail from the Prime Minister.” What exactly does PeterDutton_MP want AlboMP to do? Drive all these kids outback and leave them there shoeless to find their way home? Dutton is really good at telling everyone else what they should do, but walks out when it comes to doing something himself. I move the MP no longer be heard.

Labor government ‘ignoring’ Indigenous voicesSky News host Chris Kenny says the federal Labor government seems to have been ignoring Indigenous voices at a time when it is campaigning for a Voice to Parliament. Mr Kenny said using the trauma of Alice Springs to say a Voice would be useless is “just a cheap shot”. “While no one pretends a Voice would be a silver bullet, likewise no one could possibly argue you can solve these problems long term without serious input from Indigenous communities,” he said. They’re ignoring Anglo voices Directly hypocritical. What the hell is going on?

‘Pollyanna promises’: Prime Minister must provide ‘practical solutions’ for Alice SpringsThe public are starting to wake up to the “Pollyanna promises” of the Voice to Parliament versus the reality of Aboriginal voices being ignored in Alice Springs, Sky News host Peta Credlin says. The latest poll in the Sydney Morning Herald showed another drop in support for the Voice. Ms Credlin said the Prime Minister must fix the problems in Alice Springs that require “practical solutions and not empty symbolism”. “Despite months and months of the PM telling us we've got to be on the right side of history and support his Voice to the Parliament, today's poll shows that only 13 per cent of us felt we knew enough about it to explain it to someone else,” she said. Indigenous Australians don’t need the voice, their children need a curfew Australia is not the same as it was over 200 years ago, or 50 years ago, or 20 years ago. There are lots of good people working to improve the lives of indigenous people and change attitudes. Changing the constitution is not the answer. Manufacturing News & Outrage daily
