University of Queensland student activist critical of ties to China suspended for two years

A student activist highly critical of the University of Queensland's ties to Beijing has been handed down a two-year suspension from the institution.

"There are aspects of the findings and the severity of the penalty which personally concern me," Mr Varghese said in a statement.

No one in the mainstream media is reporting what Drew actually did to earn this suspension. He had it coming with his treatment of Chinese students who disagreed with him. The university was a lighter touch than it could have been to suspend temporarily rather than expel.
