New South Wales residents in high-risk fire zones are feeling “pretty stressful” as blazes continue to break out across the state.

Caravan park manager Jackie Urquhart lives quite close to the firegrounds and joined Sky News Australia to reveal how fast the flames are spreading towards her community. Ms Urguhart says the safety and well-being of her park residents is her top priority and claims embers have started to hit close grounds and she herself has had to put out the potential threats.

Her biggest concern is her park, like many others, holds high quantities of gas bottles and if the fires manage to reach those then the results would be destructive. The surrounding community has experienced deadly bushfires multiple times and Ms Urquhart is trying to keep the residents calm and says she is putting her “trust in the firefighters”.
