Tigers apologise after being accused of groping teammate

Tigers coach Damien Hardwick was questioned by Network Ten senior reporter Hugh Riminton on Friday about two recent post-match incidents in the Tigers' dressing room, after wins over the Western Bulldogs and Brisbane Lions.It was alleged defender Vlastuin groped the Sudanese-born Mabior Chol after the Lions match at Metricon Stadium, with Chol, according to Riminton, reacting in a manner that "plainly indicates he wasn't expecting such an action".

When questioned during his press conference, ahead of Saturday's blockbuster clash against Port Adelaide, Hardwick said he did not have any knowledge of the incidents. In a later statement, the Tigers said they had "become aware of some player behaviour during post-match team songs recently that is unacceptable and not in line with the club or community expectations".

People getting offended on behalf of others is such a joke!

Let's be real. This is not unique to Richmond. This is not unique to Aussie rules. It IS however, unique to mens footy. Never seen it in mixed or womens locker rooms.This kind of shit leaves only one avenue for those that speak out or condemn the behaviour.. exit the club.

They need to grow up and behave like adults whether the cameras are there or not.

It’s a good thing the cameras don’t go into the showers - if this is what happens during the team song .....

If they are gay that’s fine but it doesn’t mean they can grope as they please .
