Senior members of the Nationals continue to warn that no deal has been reached to sign off on Australia formally committing to a net zero emissions target by 2050: StaynerThomas pablovinales

Deputy Leader of the Nationals David Littleproud, Nationals Leader Barnaby Joyce and Nationals leader of the Senate Bridget McKenzie.Whether the Australian government will commit to a bolstered climate change policy ahead of COP26 remains undecided as the federal cabinet meets to debate the plan.

Speaking before the meeting, cabinet minister Bridget McKenzie said the Nationals' support of any proposal continued to hinge on its impact on regional Australia. Nationals leader Barnaby Joyce has also made clear the deal would be guided by his party-room, meaning its future still hangs in the balance.

The Morrison government has so far only indicated it wants to reach net zero as soon as possible and "preferably" by 2050.

StaynerThomas pablovinales Two of the three fukkedd up on the job

StaynerThomas pablovinales A *bit ridiculous that a party with a very small voter support base is holding Australia in a monkey grip. Can somebody please get joyce off the plonk long enough to have a sensible conversation.

StaynerThomas pablovinales They are a bunch of reprobates.

StaynerThomas pablovinales Hopefully this breaks the coalition. Some short term pain for the liberals if they ditch them, but long term gain (for them and the country). It’s time!

StaynerThomas pablovinales 3 ostriches pictured with their heads out of the sand momentarily can only focus on a future 10 seconds in front of themselves

StaynerThomas pablovinales This could be the end of the Coalition. Libs are under public pressure for a 2050 target. Nats are interested in filling their pockets. Libs want re election. Nats want to keep making money in a dying industry. Both don't go hand in hand however

StaynerThomas pablovinales These unrepresentative idiots attract less than the donkey vote. That they can hold Australia to ransom with their wilful ignorance is an indictment on our electoral system. We don't even know what's in their secret agreement with the Liberals

StaynerThomas pablovinales You mean Morrison and Joyce refuse to make a plan. Remember what happened to pm Turnbull...

StaynerThomas pablovinales Entirely and utterly unelectable mob of ever yesteryears! Disgusting.

StaynerThomas pablovinales They're sh1tting themselves as they slowly realise their chances of lucrative post-parliamentary sinecures on the boards of / consultancies with multinational FF miners are receding faster than their hairlines . . .

StaynerThomas pablovinales Don't Trust Climate Criminals.

StaynerThomas pablovinales I still think it’s wrong that it’s just a negotiation between Nats and LIBs only.

StaynerThomas pablovinales It makes Aussies sick when politicians like the Nationals want to destroy our planet because of a tiny minority of people in their electorates that will need to shift career paths. No government can ever govern for a tiny minority and expect to be re-elected.

StaynerThomas pablovinales that photo of Senior members of the Nationals should give us all confidence...

StaynerThomas pablovinales With WA Nats already moving to carbon neutral 2050 the federal Nats are proving to be the 'Backwaters of the Eastern States Party'

StaynerThomas pablovinales Will somebody tell these idiots that we don't want a deal,we want action and a plan and to hell with their precious positions. Too much?

StaynerThomas pablovinales 1: Forced vax's. 2: Climate change. (which would be nice but given the war mongers created most of it and are hyping up war as I type, what chance do we have? And indeed, what idiot would believe the same mugs shilling war on climate?) 3: =And? Oh I forgot point 3...! Dam!

Most Australians support a net zero target via renewables, Australia Institute revealsAs the federal Coalition negotiates a climate policy ahead of the Glasgow COP26 summit, a new report says the majority of Australians support a target to achieve net zero. If only ScottMorrisonMP & Barnaby_Joyce did too. Wishful thinking. 🙁😠 Pretty sure we keep saying that; then electing the Libs again and again. 3/4's of 2,500 polled by a progressive think tank is not 3/4's of Australians.

Coalition promising 'great future' for coal and gas as Cabinet considers net zero planThe federal government insists workers in resources and heavy manufacturing have a bright future ahead, as senior figures gather to consider how Australia will commit to net zero emissions by 2050. Sounds like the best way to achieve net zero ASAP is put the coalition in opposition. Nats are concerned about the dollars farmers will lose, but with a 73 billion ag industry this year It's about time they put money back to helpour planet instead of taking all the time. Rubbish election anyone 😂😂😂 what’s the bet if ALP win they will block any changes in plans for net zero 🤣🤣🤣
