"The AHPPC strongly discourages travel to and from those areas until control of community transmission has been confirmed," the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee, a panel of chief health officers, said in a statement.
"It's not about saying you can't visit these local government areas - where you can't visit these suburbs – it is a message for those areas you have to be particularly aware of people with symptoms, you have to be particularly aware that if you, or your kids or other family members develop symptoms, that you go for testing because transmission is higher in those areas.
