The Greens’ plan to fly a hot air balloon over Parliament House has been deflated after a last-minute air traffic ban prevented it from taking flight.

Greens leader Richard Di Natale hit out at the Morrison government accusing it of political interference after the balloon was grounded by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.

Mr Di Natale said while the protest demonstration was stopped, the Prime Minister would not "keep our voices silent". "[Mr Morrison] sits on his hands when it comes to a climate emergency, but throws the book at people who are protesting peacefully because they’re sick of government inaction," he said.

The greens need to get back under their rocks and hibernate until they find some common sense. They have, no brains, no idea and no common sense

Now to get Green's hot air out of Parliament itself.

In their desperation to be relevant, they're becoming more irrelevant by the day.

Lol

de-nut

I hope they are using their own hot air and not gas.

The ban happened two days ago.
