General Practitioners Registrars President Dr Karyn Matterson says the “detraction” from entering general practice is by and large their base rates of pay.

“Across three years of training the government could offer a supplement to bring GP salaries in line of between $50,000-60,000,” Ms Matterson told Sky News Australia.

“A supplemental payment across a number of years of their training to attract GPs into the training program delivered by the Federal government.”

It’s so good that Australians are being punished and left to suffer and die. We must keep banning all the health and aged care workers who said no to a shot that didn’t stop the spread anyway. We must punish anyone that does not obey Government orders and tries to expose the lies

Yes, $500/hr is quite hard to live off

I can start a go fund me for the poor buggers?

Pharmacy prescriptions could relieve general practitioners of 6.5 million appointmentsResearch commissioned by the Pharmacy Guild of Australia has found Pharmacists having more scope of practice could relieve pressure on General Practitioners. The research investigated the economic benefits of allowing Pharmacists to prescribe certain medications and showed it could free up to 6.5 million appointments from General Practitioners. Pharmacy Guild... that would be the pharmacy owners union. Yes? As a person with medical conditions I totally disagree with this, there could be underlying conditions and pharmacists handing out prescriptions when they are not qualified Doctors is a bad idea.

Australians are ‘demanding first world healthcare’Australians are “demanding first world healthcare”, says Pharmacy Guild of Australia National President Trent Twomey. “They are demanding to put themselves at the centre of the healthcare system,” Mr Twomey told Sky News Australia. “Not betting down on a broken model that puts practitioners at the centre and not patients.” The way our health care is at the moment, waiting 8 weeks for doctors, paying $60 to see one, 12 months for specialists, increased hospital wait times, increased scripts, widening PHI Gaps.. I’d be happy with third world.
