Sydney officially records wettest year on record

A record held for 72 years tumbled today as Sydney recorded it's wettest year tracking back 164 years when records began.

Shortly after 1pm today the city clocked a yearly total of 2199.8mm of rain - and the deluge just keeps on coming.Once drought-ravaged farm in outback NSW now surrounded by waterMonthly rainfall totals from the Bureau of Meteorology show the wettest months this year were March and July. Would love to know how electric vehicle work for rescue & emergency services during times like this…. Charge how Hundreds of klms for some of these services. Electric vehicles can’t handle it. Nor could it be safe in flood waters or fire zones.
