It was just the sort of room that late agent and Mr Fix-it John Fordham would have loved: a sitting NSW Premier, a former Australian prime minister, sporting legends past and present, radio kings and even an underworld figure.

Fordham himself would’ve had a chuckle when his friend Father Paul Ghanem interrupted proceedings to address former Labor powerbroker Graham Richardson to tell him that, in the eyes of God, Richardson was "holy, sacred and good".

While Fordham's sons, radio personality Ben Fordham and agent Nick, are well known within the circles their father inhabited, the honour of delivering the eulogy fell on their big sister, artist Sarah Fordham. She paid tribute to her father, who died of throat cancer at 75, not for the man behind the headline making deals, but more for the father, grandfather and loving husband of Veronica.

hornery Seriously? Who gives a shit? No wonder old media is dying if you clowns think this is the news the average person wants on the front page of the SMH. Completely out of touch.

hornery I thought Roosey was a Buddhist? If you see what I mean? Was he the non-arsehole there? 'To the living we owe respect, to the dead we owe the truth' - Voltaire.
