Opinion: There's something dangerously askew with the way we're talking about race and the arts

and screens an annual program of films by Indigenous filmmakers, such as Warwick Thornton, Ivan Sen, Erica Glynn, Wayne Blair and many more. Darren Dale, an Indigenous man and one of our country's most important TV producers, is on its board. The festival also champions the work of diverse Australian filmmakers, including some of us, as well as a program for women filmmakers and for screen practitioners with disabilities.

What a repugnant image.

And they wonder why no one gives a shit about the arts industry

Shame to all the heavy hitters who co-signed this article which is a blatant silencing of the younger gen of filmmakers. These heavy hitters are also a majority of 'gatekeepers' i, and now have made it quite clear they will shut down careers of the people speaking out. Disgusting

Our media’s race-baiting is continuous.

The moment the latest trendy “topic” looks like it’s about to get mainstream acceptance, the “woke” immediately repudiate it. Not because it is right or wrong. But because it is essential to be part of an exclusive anointed avant-garde.

Where are the beautiful Australian stories/films we used to make? Your article explains a lot 😡
