Dans plan is to destroy Victoria. Mark my words.

vaccine

Hm and not in good judgment coming from a not so c-word saved from your predicament

CovidVic SOS

Noooooooo

The lockdown rules sound complicated, I hope everyone understands them. Stay home and stay safe!

Agree

A month ago this clown wanted restrictions eased....The economy, the economy, he sounded like a broken record..

Absolutely behind the latest lockdown, we kept the numbers low before,no reason why we could not do it again.Come on Victorians, be Covid smart.

Sully27gp ☹

My admiration for Dan Andrews could not be higher. Remember people, Dan is doing this to save lives. Your life and your families lives. The alternative is unimaginable sorrow.

Danny are Protesters Exempt from the new Lock Down

It is time to support Melbourne to fight against virus, not blame it.

Stop blaming the government. Soooooo many people ignored the warnings. Take a good look around your neighbourhood, local shopping strip, work place. Soooo many blatantly ignored Government Covid-19 advice. Melbourne only has itself to blame. Get over it.

shannnhatesyou

I love how so many people want to blame Andrews or any politician they can. The fact is, and it IS a FACT, is that PEOPLE, ordinary PEOPLE, have fucked it up.

Melbourne goes into lockdown and the rest of Australia says you’re on your own effectively! DO NOT TELL ME WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER because we are not !!! COVIDー19 COVID19Vic melbournelockdown covid19australia auspoI

Is all this from caused by a useless security company watching the quarantined people?

Why isn't there black protests now

So safe to say that the world t20 is off?

I'd like to ask why Labour Lewishamcouncil London is prepared to put the lives of 100's of residents in Eddystonetower Deptford at risk from Covid19 by doing internal building works at hight of a global pandemic here in SE London. Large BAME community & others ignored.

As i predicted almost two months ago. They are testing for a Coronavirus not Covid specifically. As a quarter of common colds are a coronavirus then there’s always going to be positives. Australia just so happens to be entering their winter months. Yeah, but it’s not seasonal.

Illegal, fuck your manmade laws that are prone to failure and misleading the masses to die and confusing them. Fake virus. All new radiowave technology meant to make people feel sick. Slitting the throat of patients to intebate them is the reason why we are having deaths. Wake up

vital information on understanding spread of covid 19

Having people locked up in residential towers are insane. They should be spread out in temporary “tent” cities. Otherwise they cant be let out until everyone has had it. It’s like a ruby princess on land. Only way to stop transmission it is to be apart.

The exercising of executive powers for imposing lockdowns in the 2nd wave of Covid-19 appears distinguishable from that in the 1st wave. Considering that most lockdowns are lately pronounced and enforced at a devolved/decentralised/localised/regionalised/federalised level.

Who were the ministers responsible for the hotel quarantine arrangements in Victoria and when do they resign? JennyMikakos DanielAndrewsMP COVID19Vic melbournelockdown

Well they are in the middle of their winter so cases will still spike!

This is LEADERSHIP ..... making the tough decisions .... stay strong DanielAndrewsMP

Close down shopping centres there is too broad a definition of shopping for essentials

All of this happened because the security guard at quaranteen hotel let the travellers out in exchanges for sex. IT'S ALWAYS THE MEN'S FAULT WHO CAN'T KEEP IT IN THEIR PANTS

Why leave an epidemiologist and go to the Victorian opposition leader? The Victorian Liberal party have been nothing but a hindrance to our state's fight against Coronavirus. And the media have also been nothing but trouble makers.

Andrews needs to resign effective immediately this happened on his watch due to stupid decisions every other state got it right

I'm in Melbourne and have bought a used car in regional Victoria. Can i go and pick up the used car under the 'shopping for essential items' category?

Resign

With the current situation in Melbourne, why were people allowed to go on holiday. Four people from Melbourne have tested positive after visiting Pt. Fairy & possibly spread Covid over parts of Western Vic. How can that be?

At least we can cheeefully shutdown knowing we we in the safe hands of KPMG. Accountants running a crisis. Nothing to worry about Victoria Your Leader has abrogated his responsibility and blames you for his stuff up.

I offered 3-1 for any takers six weeks ago on here smart people mmmn auspol

Thank you! Very sorry but very needed!

Good. We need to do this. There are people in Melbourne acting like damn children. If you had followed the rules, we would be done with this.

Is this code for more protests every weekend for 6 weeks?

Every positive case should be removed from their home and placed in strict biohazard quarantine. All we have learnt is that you CANNOT trust the community to 'self isolate.'

Jared_Stafford Well there goes the snow trip to _hotham

It was inevitable.

With Covid-19 surging in Victoria - which PDA should be outlawed first? auspol

dictatordan

Good, we need to

What a joke! Lock down based on cases? What a joke this is. Australias medical establishment should be ashamed

When you are given liberty or punishment based on a political ideology. Don't pretend like you live in a free, democratic society.

finally

So gyms are shut again?

It time to punish those who think it a great joke Victoria should implement jail time and harsh finds

Lockdown. More like lockup.

This is BS. The incubation period is 5-9 days. This is now punitive. If Victorians meekly obey they are serfs, not citizens.

Can you call it a lock down if you can still leave and go for a fish or a round of golf? It’s also not the hardest lockdown we’ve seen in the state, we were all under the 4 reasons to leave order just a few weeks ago 😐

Can’t wait for TimSmithMP and michaelobrienmp to be constructive and collaborative on the subject, with sage advice provided from the sidelines by jeff_kennett

Being able to travel, shop and do exercise isnt really a lockdown.

Spare a moment of thought for the people in Melbourne. Their sacrifice is for the good of the rest of Australia.

Great job Dan. ❤️👍... Unlike the RubyPrincess disaster. ScottyFromMarketting Incompetence

Thank goodness. Hard but necessary

Punxatawny Dan says six more weeks of winter lock down after he was scared of his shadow.

Queensland joins WA in push for international flight cap amid Melbourne virus spikeState premiers have lobbied the Morrison government to reduce international flights coming into Australia as Melbourne grapples with a coronavirus spike. I wonder if any States would have coped with the influx of infectious returning travellers that Melbourne has endured. If the whole world had done this and shut everything down (except essential services) for 1 month back in Feb/March the virus would be all but gone. Hey, but what do I know, I’m not a world leader who’s main interest has been the economy. And hasn’t that worked out just great. Needs to happen while the country grapples with Victoria. Every day more Covid people come into the country. One into NSW is now at risk of spreading it in Newcastle. Stem the flow!
