Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has put himself in the box seat for a presidential tilt at either the 2024 or 2028 general elections, Sky News host James Morrow says.

“Precisely because he listened to voters and not the elites on everything from COVID to the economy,” Mr Morrow said.

Mr Morrow discussed voter turnout predictions for the upcoming midterm elections with Florida State University Professor Lonna Atkeson.“For the first time ever, we have seen Republican turnout be higher than Democratic turnout in the early voting period,” she said.
