Typhoon Molave hits Vietnamese coast, killing two and leaving dozens missingAt least 26 fishermen are missing in waters of Vietnam, where one of the strongest typhoons in two decades has torn into the nation's central coastline, uprooting trees and forcing hundreds of thousands into shelter. I, like many Australians, love Vietnam. A bit more detail would be appreciated rather than ‘coastal Vietnam’- any towns , nearest city, or districts travellers would know could do with mention. Danang? Hue? Hoi An? Nha Trang ? Climate change? Molave is very extensive and its influence is already being felt across most of SEAsia. The air pressure is falling, the wind speed is increasing and light rain is falling, and this is some 300kms away!

Peta Credlin to expose deep 'political cover-up' in ‘Deadly Decisions’ hotel quarantine documentary | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Peta Credlin says her upcoming documentary on the failures of hotel quarantine will expose the Victorian government's political cover-up and the 'horrific' decisions taken by Daniel Andrews.\n\nSky News Australia will broadcast a special one-hour investigation Deadly Decisions: Victoria’s Hotel Quarantine Catastrophe anchored by Peta Credlin on Sunday 1 November at 8:00pm AEDT. \n\nTaking a deep dive into Victoria’s hotel quarantine catastrophe, this special will investigate how flawed decision-making inside the government led to the use of private security guards instead of police and defence force personnel. \n\nVictoria’s decision to go it alone has had disastrous consequences with more than 800 dead, five million Melbourne residents suffering the longest and toughest lockdowns in the world, and an economy on its knees. \n\n“There is so much you will see on Sunday night that is new,” Ms Credlin said. \n\n“I’m talking to whistleblowers, I’m talking to people who were inside the hottest of the hot COVID hotels, I’m talking to people about the contracts, $30 million for three months work given to a company that has a dubious history, done in under a couple of hours.\n\n“What happened, the impact of all of that.\n\n“We know it, we’ve lived it here in Victoria.\n\n“It’s more than that, it’s what I call the political cover-up and an inquiry that must now be put under a lot of pressure, not even just by Victorians, by Australians to get to the bottom of even half of what I’m going to expose on Sunday night.\n\nMs Credlin said Premier Daniel Andrews has a history of 'bullying, of intimidation' yet he puts on a facade for the media every day. \n\n'I can’t be bullied on this stuff. I am standing up for all of those small businesses, the men who run them, the women who run them who ring me in tears, the 800 dead, and more than that,' she said. \n\n“And just for democracy.”\n\n“We can’t have a situation where someone presides over a decision like this then it’s DanielAndrewsMP Not to mention the half-assed attempt at an Inquiry DanielAndrewsMP Inquiries are an Absolute waste of money. Dan Andrews should be ashamed of himself. Victorians that voted for him should ask him to please explain! DanielAndrewsMP Only the real right-wing nut jobs will watch it... so preaching to the converted only.
