Qantas says it would be willing to help a cabin crew member sue the Black Eyed Peas frontman if he does not retract his claim she acted 'racist' towards him.

On Monday, a Qantas spokesperson told SBS News the company was willing to help the individual sue over the claims.

"Absent a retraction, and if the crew member wanted to take the matter further, we'd certainly be willing to provide legal support for them to do this," the spokesperson said.I’m sorry to say me and my group have experienced they worse service due to a overly aggressive flight attendant...But she has clearly aimed all her frustrations only at the people of colourOn Saturday, will.i.

The 44-year-old published the individual's name on Twitter and accused her of being a"#RacistFlightattendant"."I don't want to believe she racist. But she has clearly aimed all her frustrations only at the people of colour," he tweeted to his 12.8 million followers. He followed up with:"she sent the police after me because I couldn't hear the P.A while making beats on the plane wearing noise canceling headphones".He included a photo of a uniformed police officer at the airport gate.In a subsequent tweet, he said"this is what Twitter is for...we are supposed to call out wrongdoings so we can have a safer more compassionate world".

If I did something wrong....or if I was the slightest bit rude to a FAN or a journalist during work, I would be publicly named...this is what Twitter is for...we are supposed to call out wrong doings so we can have a safer more compassionate world

Qantas if you so choose to sue iamwill then you are surely setting yourself up for a Boycott furthermore your track record in maintenance has been pretty shaky too, so prevent BoycottQantas & apologise publicly and retrain these airline bad hosts of yours b4 it costs you💲

He'll be out of pocket millions if she sues. Witnesses for iamwill...his crew, witnesses for the QANTAS staff member...the entire plane

Despite what happened, he should never have publicly named the flight attendant to his 12 million followers; Qantas (as her employer) MUST have her back.

Qantas are very strict about passengers following directions during flights. They do call police if there is a significant disturbance, no matter what colour or culture you are. Ask the Veronicas.

Are flight attendants mandatory drug tested?

Ever one relax

Just fabulous Qantas is at war with a virtue signalling celebrity. Alan Joyce wants to live by the sword........

Too many people just tune out. His laptop like all passengers can bloody wait til cruising altitude. Nothing is that important to be tuned out before take off. See it all the time. Cabin crew should have just taken it off him

Cool publicity stunt.

Should cabin crew wear cameras?

I'm not surprise, during the apartheid, white corporations helped the racist and brutal regimes, in some cases by enforcing their policies. Qantas is no exception.

justmefeeb Good. He is become a bit too precious in his own mind

I was treated very shoddily on a Qantas flight from the UK. Never since have I spent a single penny with them. There’s much better airlines out there.

Video ?

Well after reading about the situation, he doesn’t have much to claim racism. He ignored their attempts to get him to stow his laptop. I own noise cancelling headphones and they don’t block my vision to see someone standing in front of me. And I am sure suing for slander is comin

IsraelFolauFans Joyce and Qantas are seeking your attention.

Justice for Jussie. 🤣

I would love to see it go to court and a grovelling apology from WillIam

Your ego has made you a pain in the arse mate, nothing to do with racism, we don't have that crap here

Qantas turfs ‘the customer is always is right” rule out and threatens to sue instead.

In case he needs a witness!

Will I Am clearly sounds entitled, can't own up to what he did.

Great. Well done qantas for standing up to the 'entitled'.

Dunno about racist but Qantas do have obnoxious staff compared with other cheaper airlines

Qantas passengers stranded on tarmac at New Zealand military baseA Qantas plane made an emergency landing at a New Zealand military base on Saturday, with passengers stuck in a sweltering cabin for four hours while emergency work was carried out on the plane You don't often hear of NZ being heartless bastards. Passengers could not get off and walk around, I would GET Force my way out and let the NZ troops shoot an Anzac dead for or being forced to walk around on NZ army ground because a plane is stuck stinking hot. Get fucked Kiwis. That is what happens when the Maintenence schedule for Qantas planes is cut down to essentials only. Qantas has lost its credibility - instead they paid the savings to the CEO in his $24m annual salary Snakes on the plane?

Qantas flight forced to make emergency landing at NZ military basePassengers complain of being forced to sit in the plane on the tarmac for four hours after a flight between Melbourne and Wellington is forced to make an emergency landing at the Ohakea military base due to a mechanical issue. That would be one very expensive ticket to be pissed off with airline. For the price they charge you would expect special treatment when something hoes wrong Technical issues can happen from time-to-time BUT a PR failure by an experienced airline is unforgivable. Are we to believe passengers could not have left the aircraft and have been contained within a RNZAF base until Customs & Immigration arrive! What utter rot! Appalling reporting. It’s not an inconvenience to survive. Safety first.
