The push by to ban Hezbollah's military wing is "well intentioned” but "simply doesn’t go far enough” according to the Australian/Israel and Jewish Affairs council's Dr Colin Rubenstein. Security Agencies are expected to brief Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton this month on whether Hezbollah’s military wing should be considered a terrorist group. Bar New Zealand, Australia is the only country in the Five Eyes security alliance not to label Hezbollah a terrorist organisation.
