Town Square Belfast posted the note to its Instagram, with it mockingly stating male pub-goers needed to seek permission from their female partners to watch a series of Rugby games “with the lads”.
It ended with an option for women to sign their ‘permission’ or signal that they “do not give consent” for their male partner to attend.
