A Chinese producer has denied raping a woman in a luxury Sydney hotel, instead claiming they hugged and kissed after she'd "voluntarily" performed a sex act on a Chinese film star in the same room.

The jury was shown footage of the woman - who can't be identified for legal reasons - standing with Wang outside the Shangri-La Hotel shortly after 2am on March 27 in 2018.Wang is seen carrying her bag and at one point he moves it away from her as she goes to take it back.As the pair walk into the hotel together Wang is seen holding her arm - something he said he often did with both men and women.
