Police have released the images of three people who they want to speak to after flares were set off during Melbourne's anti-lockdown protest last weekend. 9News

Thousands of "selfish" protesters sprawled across the CBD, chanting "free Victoria" and lighting flares on the steps of parliament to oppose the state's last lockdown."Police are aware of several incidents where the flares were set off which endangered not only police but people in the vicinity of the incidents," police said.

One of the men is believed to be aged in his late 20s or 30s and is described to have a slim build with short dark brown hair.The other man is believed to be aged in his 30s and had a medium build with short brown hair. The woman is believed to be aged in her 20s and has a slim build with long brown hair. She was seen wearing a blue puffer jacket.Assistant Commissioner Luke Cornelius at the time said he was disappointed to see "so many people blatantly disregard the Chief Health Officer directions putting the health of Victorians at risk".

"We will not stand by while selfish people deliberately choose to put every Victorian at further risk of the spread of the highly contagious and dangerous Delta variant," he said.
