Instead of viewing the measures as “punitive”, Mr Elliott said the health orders were imposed to ensure the health and safety of locals. “These regulations, these health orders, are not health orders that have been implemented that are some sort of punitive measure by the government,” he said. “It saddens us, as a government, to have to fine individuals who are just being asked to comply with laws that will make their lives safer and healthier.

NSW lost nearly 300 people to road trauma alone last yr My guess is not vaccinated. Covid kills the unvaccinated. How many deaths are acceptable? Before Covid it was the flu pneumonia bronchitis upper respiratory infections and sinus infections and unfortunately if you are elderly or have a compromised immune system it can be dangerous.
