NSW workers will now have access to the federal government's paid pandemic leave program as the state recorded its first death from COVID-19 in five weeks | JoshDye91

The scheme reduces the financial pressure on casual workers and contractors in particular who may have struggled to afford two weeks in isolation without pay.because it was the only jurisdiction in a "state of disaster".
