'It'd be awesome to play Origin, it would be a dream come true.' - Cody Walker. ✏️ via dan_walsh64 NRL

Walker's career-best form under Maroons stalwart Wayne Bennett this year has him piling pressure on incumbent Blues halves Nathan Cleary and James Maloney, though Brad Fittler cautiously backed the pair for Origin I at Suncorp Stadium.

At the age of 16 he moved into the Titans junior system and cut his teeth at renowned nursery Palm Beach Currumbin, winning a national title against Matraville Sports High in 2008, who boasted a pint-sized Adam Reynolds on their bench. "We would go up to Lang Park every year and watch as a family in the late 90s, early 2000s, we'd be there every year."It was just awesome to be up there, we'd go up on the Wednesday after school, stay at one of my uncle's houses and go in for the game.More than once Bennett looked to have lured Walker to Brisbane in 2016, strengthening his Queensland connection further still.

Finally the supercoach came to him, calling Redfern home and Walker his five-eighth this season, promptly putting him in the Origin frame with a frank appraisal of his 34 handling errors in 2018 .

Lindt siege sniper suing NSW PoliceThe chief sniper during the Lindt Cafe siege is suing NSW Police, alleging he and fellow officers were prevented from doing their jobs and the lives of cafe manager Tori Johnson and barrister Katrina Dawson could have been saved. I have to admit , that at the time i could not understand the total lack of action by the police. In hindsight , i now believe that the fear of not being Political correct ceased the situation. No action = dead people This bad.

Chief sniper in Lindt café siege to sue NSW PoliceThe chief sniper during the Lindt Cafe siege has alleged he and fellow officers were prevented from doing their jobs and the lives of victims been saved if protocol was followed. 9News Takes courage to speak out .. we'll probably find that there was political interference involved so that the LNP government could make as much political capital as possible out of a contrived 'terrorist' incident. Mental illness & a banking dispute doesn't sound as good🙄

Extra $100 million for upgrades to one of NSW's worst roads promised by LaborLabor announces it would spend almost $250 million to duplicate the Barton Highway between Canberra and Murrumbateman, $100 million more than the Coalition has budgeted for. billshortenmp Great news ... sadly, not enough. Many regional roads, in particular, are nothing better than goat tracks! Another $100 million stolen from Western Australia. Do not vote AustralianLabor or LiberalAus until they stop treating West Aussies like cash cows. Labor really likes to make promises dont they. I wonder if they are 'core' promises or not though. I would love someo e to outline how many promises they kept last time they were in.
