MORNING BRIEFING: An overnight fire in Wagga Wagga that wiped out an old university building just sold to a developer is treated as suspicious, while Sydney's house prices drop to their lowest in two decades.

New data reveals Sydney house prices have fallen by more than 14 per cent since property prices peaked in mid-2017.
