Breaking: A father at the centre of a suspected murder-suicide in Melbourne's east has been named as a library technician at a private school.

to the couple's investment property in Nunawading.Mr Hu was a library technician at Hawthorn's Scotch College and regularly ran free group running sessions at Jells Park in Wheeler's Hill.that Mr Hu had worked at the school for many years and was known to have a short temper."One day he ran around the library chasing after me. If you pushed him you'd see his temper."He said the deaths had sent shock waves around the alumni community.

The couple's family declined to speak when contacted earlier this week but it is believed their son had only recently celebrated his 8th birthday. A woman was found dead in a car, and a man died shortly afterwards at a Nunawading property on Saturday night."They [lived] here about 10 years ago. They bought a house in Blackburn and had this place rented out. Then recently they had separated and he had moved back in last Sunday," he said.A resident said he was in shock with Mt Pleasant Road known to be very quiet."Normally you see things on TV thinking something’s never going to happen in your neighbourhood.
