A woman has defended the way she gives her baby boy a bath after many labelled it “cruel”, but the mum explained there’s a reason for it.

She explained that her son suffers from mild eczema and the condition can cause flare-ups that leave his skin dry and itchy, as well as red and sore,In order to treat it, she swears by bleach baths and explained to fellow mums on Instagram how they work after the method was criticised by fellow parents.

“Done safely, the use of a measured amount of diluted bleach added to a lukewarm bath is common practice in our paeds wards across the country. This is because bleach helps kill the bacteria that causes eczema to become infected and reduces the severity of the condition. “Always use only straight bleach [4.2 per cent sodium hypochlorite] – no lemon or lavender OK! Make sure you measure as per hospital guidelines. You’ll need a measuring cup and a standard household bucket [usually 10L].According to the Eczema Association of Australian, eczema bleach bath can kill bacteria on the skin, reducing itching, redness and scaling. UN only picking on Australia's reefs because 'they don't like our climate policy' | Sky News AustraliaPhysicist and Author Peter Ridd says just about every area of the Great Barrier Reef - according to the statistics - 'has completely recovered' since the 2016 bleaching event and is in 'no danger'.\n\n'The area which was hit by the 2016 bleaching has completely recovered; every area except one has got above average coral cover, some at near-record levels... so actually the statistics make it look wonderful,' he said.\n\n'Our untrustworthy science institutions have now given the Chinese the ammunition to beat us with. We need audits of our own scientists so we can't be crucified with our own work.\n\n'If climate change is going to affect the Great Barrier Reef, it's going to affect all the reefs of the world, but they're only picking on Australia because they don't like our climate policy - it's just a political stunt that has been fuelled by our own untrustworthy science institutions.' 👇 Physics eh Might as well ask a virologist about space travel.
