An MP’s son who pleaded guilty to child sex offences has escaped jail following concerns he wouldn’t be able to use the toilet behind bars.

Daniel Knuth, son of Queensland MP Shane Knuth, pleaded guilty to 35 child sex offence charges in Townsville District Court last year, including possession of child exploitation material.

“If he was an able bodied offender there is simply no question at all that he’d be going to jail and going to jail for quite some time,” Judge Greg Lynham said, according to the“I think the biggest issue and it’s made clear — simply put, there is no one to attend to Mr Knuth’s toileting needs.” Judge Lynham described the case as “sad” and “pathetic” when sentencing Knuth to four years jail, immediately wholly suspended for a period of five years.

Knuth pleaded guilty to 35 child sex offences in December. These included using internet to procure a child, involving children in making child exploitation material and possessing child exploitation material.

Give him a box to stand on.

You have to be taking the piss !!! Outrageous........ What a mockery of the law and this country's legal system.

Give him a step

Wft? Seriously?

Should have thought of that before he decided to be a pedo. Too bad. Jail is required for his offences. Put in a small toilet if needed. Not like he would be the only one with dwarfism to use it eventually. His disability should not be a free ticket to abuse kids.

35 fucken offences against children and because he is not potty trained he cant go to jail

It's a shame he didn't show concerns for his victims before abusing them! The law should treat everyone equally. He abused children so he should be locked up and the key thrown away.

There's an out for all you pedo's .......just say you are to short to use to use the dunny ffs...it does help if daddy is an MP

What the hell This is a load of crap! The dog deserves to be thrown in jail who cares about rights or inabilities.. he deserves to be gutted like the pig he is anyway!

Lock him up in disabled protection

Having a disability shouldn’t mean you get treated any differently so what the hell is this 😡

What mp?

Fukn rocky!!!

Just stick him into the cell and let him chock on his own sh!t Animal like him deserves nothing

How long would it take to install a smaller toilet bowl?

Another monster that couldn’t wipe his own arse.

GailCoastie

Who cares about his toileting needs?! He’s a danger to the community. Lock him up and let him wallow in his own filth.

I’d love to say this is shocking-but preferential treatment is so blatant these days, no one bothers to hide their corruption anymore 😡😡

Is that tyrion lannister ?

WTF?

WhatTheCunt.jpg

Maybe grubs who offend against children shouldn't have any rights. Take a child's innocence and you lose every hint of fairness.
