Michael Slater removed from Qantas flight after locking himself in the toilet after a heated argument while boarding | jennynoise

Former Australian cricketer Michael Slater has been kicked off a Qantas flight following a disturbance during boarding that delayed the aircraft from taking off.

In a statement, a Qantas spokesman confirmed a male passenger was asked to leave a Sydney to Wagga Wagga flight "for being disruptive" on Sunday afternoon."He complied with the crew's request," the spokesman said. According to 2GB reports, witnesses boarding the flight shortly before 3pm on Sunday described Slater in a heated argument with two female companions and claimed he delayed the flight by locking himself in the aircraft toilet.

In a statement issued to Macquarie Radio, Slater confirmed he had an argument with two friends while boarding, and apologised for "the inconvenience this caused other passengers on the flight." However, his management said Slater denies the reports that he locked himself in the toilet and would not comment further on the incident.

The right to be forgotten: How Google may be forced to remove you from the internetThat embarrassing post, cringe-worthy photo, or even something posted online by someone else, may soon be scrubbed from Google searches under new Australian measures proposed to mimic European laws. People still use Google for web searches in 2019? Are they going to stop reading and sharing your emails to? Didn't think so. Remember when their slogan USED to read 'Don't be evil'... I suggest we rely on strength in numbers instead. When an embarrassing online past is everyone's problem, it's no one's problem
