WA Premier Mark McGowan says the threats to himself and his family following his government’s expansion of vaccine mandates to 75 per cent of the workforce are partly the result of conspiracy theorists peddling ‘witchdoctor’ medical solutions on the internet.
A Perth man fronted court on Friday after allegedly making threats to kill the Premier as well as Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews. Counter-terrorism police allegedly found unsecured licensed firearms in the accused man’s home during a raid last week. “I just want to say to all those people who object to what we’re doing, we’re doing the right thing by them, their families and their community, and we’re not going to stop,” he said.“I just urge everyone just to do the right thing by each other, not target anyone in particular.
