Northern Territory police have charged a man with manslaughter over the death of another man in the remote Northern Territory community of Wadeye.

A 32-year-old man who suffered severe head injuries in an alleged altercation in the remote Northern Territory community of Wadeye on Saturday has died in hospital.Community unrest escalated last night following news of the death of a 32-year-old man, police sayAn 18-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter and is due to face court in Darwin today

"Ongoing disputes between family groups in the community have seen additional police deployed, including crime detectives and general duties officers," he said. Acting Superintendent Fox said after news of the death reached the community last night, "disturbances escalated".
