Maloney back at half as NSW make seven changes for Origin II

Brad Fittler has rolled the dice, making seven changes to the New South Wales line-up ahead of a must-win game two of State of Origin in Perth on Sunday.

There were suggestions selectors were looking to pick Mitchell Pearce with Cleary, but the Knights' star was ruled out on Sunday morning with a hip injury after playing the full 80 minutes in Newcastle's thumping 34-4 loss to the Storm in Melbourne on Saturday afternoon. The Blues also had to bring in a replacement for winger Nick Cotric, who hobbled off late on in Canberra's win over Cronulla with an ankle injury.

NSW government and 'homeless' residents await answers after Sydney high-rise 'crack'The NSW government 'will hold everybody to account' once the root cause of ongoing and persistent cracking in a Sydney apartment complex is identified Highly unlikely. They won’t be able to (or won’t want to) pin the blame on anyone. Of course the real blame lies with the LNP who at the urging of their developer mates have deregulated building standards and processes so much that these problems have and will again occur. Glads will slap a levy on all the folk of NSW to ensure her mates are protected from having to be held to account. Liberals, socialising costs, privatising profit every single day. auspol Yeah sure!
