A day after Hong Kong's Chief Executive suspended an extradition bill which sparked violent rallies, activists hope more than a million people will join a demonstration to demand she steps down.

Violent clashes on Wednesday, when police fired rubber bullets and tear gas at protesters near the heart of the financial centre, grabbed global headlines and forced some banks to shut branches.

Hong Kong has been governed under a"one country, two systems" formula since its return to Beijing, allowing freedoms not enjoyed on mainland China but not a fully democratic vote.

Don't over do it the proposed referendum is under review time to hold back.

Same in France, where week after week thousands gather to demand Macron buggers off. He instead sends his goons who fire flash grenades at the protestors and teargas entire plazas or streets, or as in the example below, a cafe.

My guess is China is going to move in and take over.

Sorry but do you think if Carrie Lam stepped down you would get a better leader? It is no different from Trump impeachment. You will only get a more pro-Beijing lackey as you would get a more conservative Mike Pence.
