A pending Supreme Court decision over alleged sacred site damage in Kakadu National Park could have implications for the protection of other sacred grounds, a senior custodian believes.

Speaking outside the Supreme Court, Senior male Bolmo custodian Joe Markham said he was worried the future of other sacred sites won't be secure if the federal government successfully argued it couldn't be held culpable for allegedly disturbing a sensitive location.

"The Jawoyn people want our sites to be protected, we don't want to open the area to tourists at the cost of our sacred sites."Parks Australia hopes to 'move forward together' "Parks Australia reiterates its commitment to continue working with traditional owners of KNP so that we can move forward together, acknowledging the matters before the court are now outside of our control," it said in a statement.

Picking Ketanji Brown Jackson is Joe Biden's chance to 'leave his mark on the Supreme Court'. So what about her legacy? If confirmed, the Harvard graduate would bring a unique perspective to the Supreme Court, dominated by white men for more than 200 years. As the Senate Judiciary Committee chair points out, 'it's not easy being the first'. There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that she was the best person for the job. Too lenient on pedos much? Way to swap her middle and last name. What intern did this?
