The left swing regressive insanity, an investigator stood down for wanting to keep an open mind wtf wrong with that?

The elephant in the room is invisible! Pair bonding & the institution of marriage is irretrievably broken! Anything with a failure rate as high as “marriage” would cease to exist. Tens of thousands make a living in the divorce & dv industries! Time for a serious rethink!

Good, put him in a car, set it a light then see what he says

Rightly so! 👍

bettinaarndt everyone else can see the problem, why Can't you.

Good move. He seemed to be blaming the wife of all people!

It is not only this person but the whole culture of the force that needs to be changed where masculinity is aligned to power over and a belief that 'I own you'. The defence, police & male football codes are still the bastion of such culture. A type males who use force & bullying.

Should stand down for good i say .... but lets see if he slipped the tongue here the wrong way ... as he supposedly one of the best investigators around with an unblemished record

It is possible that what he MEANT was that it was vital to find out everything that lead to this tragedy in order to try to avoid another, but it’s not what these victims’ family would have heard or the very many others still grieving or living in fear. ‘Pushed’ implies blame.

So he should. It is victim blaming at its absolute worst.

Detective, Mark Thompson, sounds like the brightest detective in the QldPolice! Of cause he needs to investigate what 'triggered' this tragedy! Jesus, what pushed this man to kill his family.. its like the whole Rosie Batty event over again! What pushes a human this far!

For fuck sake - of course a complete picture needs to be built. Shame on the QPS for not standing by their staff in a tough time.

Too right. The last thing we want, or need is our police force to approach investigations with an 'open mind'.

‘Rest in peace little angels’: Tributes flow for Camp Hill familyTributes are flowing for a “spectacular mother” and her “precious babies” after a horrific car fire in Brisbane that has shaken the community. Such a sad and horrible event. May they rest in peace. I truly feel sad tonight for hearing this news... It wasn’t a car fire- they were murdered! There would have been big-time signs about the ongoing domestic violence and it is time that Australians stop turning a blind eye and covering up incidents just because someone is perceived to have some status. Even the first reports really sugarcoated this tragedy.
