The head of Victoria Police's human source unit will be the first quizzed over the biggest legal scandal in Victoria's history, as the royal commission into the Lawyer X scandal begins three days of public hearings.Commissioner Margaret McMurdo is tasked with exposing how many cases may have been tainted by the use of information from Lawyer X
The commission will also investigate if Victoria Police sought legal advice about using Ms Gobbo as a source The High Court described the relationship as ''reprehensible conduct'' that ''debased fundamental premises of the criminal justice system''.
