Prime Minister Scott Morrison ought to put his optimistic approach to the drought aside and seriously consider Labor’s proposed ‘war cabinet’, according to Joel Fitzgibbon.

Earlier, the prime minister issued a swift slapdown of Labor’s call for a drought war cabinet, telling reporters it was a novel idea that didn’t hold much weight.
