King Charles not to replace Queen Elizabeth II on Australia’s new $5 note

The Central Bank has decided to instead design a new note that prioritises the culture and history of First Australians.

The RBA consulted the Albanese Government on the decision to dump King Charles from the new note design, and Labor backed the decision.
