Dominic Perrottet will today call for a dramatic overhaul of the way the national childcare system is run, handing responsibility over from the Commonwealth to the states.

New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet wants to take over responsibility for child care from the federal government.Dominic Perrottet says it makes more sense for the states to run both schools and childcare centresIn return, he says, the Commonwealth could take over full responsibility for the NDIS

Currently, long daycare is funded by the Commonwealth, while the states fund early childhood education through community preschools. In addition, he believes that allowing the states to run childcare as well as the public school system will improve access to early education. "For example, the Commonwealth could potentially assume full responsibility for something like the NDIS, which continues to face challenges under shared state-federal administration," he will suggest. It is unclear how the model would work in practice, as the majority of long daycare centres are run by private operators. The Premier has signalled that education would be a focus of his government.

A: The amount of dipshit similar linked, grouped & aligned accounts mass flood replying on COVID posts by ANY media source. **Tip: Almost all will have an identical [if not a direct copy/paste] style post. 'NSW Premier Daniel Andrews'... in such a hurry to push out a covid article they didn't even read it before posting lol. Who cares?
