NSW has recorded 260 new cases of COVID-19 and two deaths from 58,706 tests undertaken in the 24-hours to 8pm on Monday.

Meanwhile, NSW Health is monitoring a local cluster of the Omicron variant, with 14 cases linked to a school and climbing gym in Sydney's west and southwest, among the state's 25 recorded cases of the new strain."It is expected that our numbers linked to this cluster will rise as further results are confirmed," she said on Monday.Three new cases of COVID-19 linked to the Omicron variant have been detected in the ACT.
However, due to Omicron cases, close contacts and household contacts will still need to undergo 14 days of quarantine, regardless of their vaccination status.

Omicron is carried by the injected & is transmitted by the injected, it makes no difference if a person is injected or not as to whether they'll acquire an Omicron infection, they'll all spread it if precautions such as masks, social distancing, testing, quarantine, don't occur.
