India says three soldiers killed in 'violent face-off' with China

Three Indian soldiers have been killed in a "violent face-off" with Chinese troops on the disputed border, according to the Indian army.

India and China have been locked in a stand-off in the Galwan Valley in the western Himalayas for weeks, with both accusing each other of trespassing into the other's territory. "During the de-escalation process underway in the Galwan Valley, a violent face-off took place yesterday night with casualties on both sides," the Indian army said in a statement.

Border guards have had skirmishes and even fistfights when patrols have confronted each other, but there has been no loss of life at the border since bloody clashes erupted in the eastern Himalayas in 1967.

Literally all its neighbors are in quarrel and confrontations with China! China kills us with chinavirus, it kills us by means of concentration camps and hkpolicebrutality. It kills us by direct military offense! Time for a combined military response.

I believe they are still pissed off with India for giving safe passage and asylum to Dalai Lama back in 1959. Especially allowing him to hold religious service in areas on the border with China which China claims is theirs. As those areas are predominantly Buddhists.
