Australian National University’s Professor Peter Collignon says even if the federal government’s assumption of a COVID-19 vaccine in 2021 happens, it will not mean life goes back to normal.

“Realistically, even if everything goes according to plan and we get something that’s really effective, it won’t be towards the second half of next year at the earliest that we’ll have a large proportion of the nation vaccinated,” Professor Collignon told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“To really work at stopping restrictions it’s got to be ninety per cent effective because if you look at the only two respiratory viruses that we’ve stopped spread and eliminated … that didn’t happen until we had basically a vaccine that was ninety per cent effective or more.” “I think we will get a vaccine that will save lives, but it won’t stop the need for some restriction of our movement and crowding, and some interference with our lives,” he said.

Remaining COVID restrictions must go ‘without any more political games’ | Sky News AustraliaState borders must open up, the Victorian lockdown needs to be lifted and any remaining restrictions have to go soon without “any more political games or delay” according to Peta Credlin.\n\nMs Credlin said unlike the Great Depression referenced by the treasurer in his budget speech on Tuesday, the current economic circumstances are not a result of changing conditions, but rather “deliberate government policy to keep us safe”.\n\nShe said the budget heavily featured programs to incentivise employment of Australian workers to reinvigorate the Australian economy.\n\n“It's still a budget of Liberal values, because at the heart of centre-right politics is the conviction that it's strong businesses - rather than big government - that drives prosperity”.\n\nGiven the emphasis on business-fuelled recovery, Ms Credlin said all unnecessary restrictions must be lifted because the virus is “almost exclusively a threat to the very old and already very sick”.\n\n“(They) can be protected without economically damaging lockdowns,” she said.\n\n“Perhaps the strongest element in last night’s budget (was) the government’s confidence that this will pass”.\n Peta Credlin is correct. It's time to live again. We can't keep being a net loss for Australia. According to peta Credlin hey. Why listen to her, this is what she's given us with her mates. The covid BS gets old . How long will dickhead dan and co keep beating that dead horse for ?

Andrew Crisp's corrected testimony to COVID inquiry is a 'serious problem': Credlin | Sky News AustraliaSky News host Peta Credlin says Emergency Management Commissioner Andrew Crisp was required under law to continually brief his ministers which means his corrected testimony showing there was no briefing “is a serious problem for him'.\n\nMs Credlin discussed Mr Crisp’s correction with Sky News Senior Reporter Andrea Crothers. \n\n“Initially, the Emergency Management Commissioner Andrew Crisp had told the state committee - this parliamentary inquiry into the government's response to COVID-19 - that he did brief the police minister and the Emergency Services Minister Lisa Neville in the days leading up to the hotel quarantine scheme being launched,” Ms Crothers said. \n\n“Today we’ve seen a pretty big backflip.\n\n“Six weeks later, he’s penned a letter to that committee saying he wishes to change his evidence, that he didn’t in fact, brief Lisa Neville at all about these plans.\n\nMs Crothers said Premier Daniel Andrews wouldn’t weigh in “on whether it would be pretty bizarre and odd for a commissioner not to be briefing a minister about such critical plans in response to COVID-19”.\n\nMs Credlin said 'Crisp is required under law in Victoria, to continually brief his minister'. \n\n“It’s not a nice to do, it’s not an official protocol, he is required under law.\n\n“Surely, if he’ required under law, and he’s now admitting to a parliamentary inquiry - having changed his evidence - that he wasn’t briefing her as he once told her he was, that is a serious problem.”\n\n“It’s a serious problem for him, it could potentially be breaking the law, and I think it’s a question very much for the premier tomorrow, very much a question for the police.”\n\n\n\n I cross the street = $1500 fine This crap = This from the architect of the great carbon tax lie! UK’s shrinking second wave COVID-19 death rate ‘biased’ by testing | Sky News AustraliaAn infectious diseases expert says the discrepancy between the UK’s soaring daily infection rate and the mortality count compared to the first wave is a result of missed cases in the beginning.\n\n“It’s really a function I think of, in the UK in particular, they missed most of their cases during their first wave,” ANU Professor Peter Collignon said.\n\n“I have relatives in the UK who I’m pretty sure had COVID, but they couldn’t get a test, and they were young, and they recovered.”\n\nProfessor Collignon told Sky News host Chris Kenny that while treatment had improved since the pandemic began, it was still not “all that flash”.\n\n“The treatment we’ve got is still not all that flash, I mean we don’t have a magic drug that makes it go away, we do have things that save people or decrease their chance of dying if they’re in intensive care, but none of the drugs are dramatic,” he said.\n\n“It’s better supportive care, better fluids, we know more about the clotting.\n\n“So, yes, the deaths are lower but I think it’s mainly an artifact related to the age of the people being tested.”\n\nProfessor Collignon said people in their 20s and 30s have a mortality rate of about one in 10,000 while people above the age of 85 have a one in three chance.\n\n“So the age of the people getting infected has a big effect,” he said. \n\n“And I think as the problem has gone, older people are getting infected less often compared to young people, and there’s more testing, so that can give us a bias that makes it look like the mortality rate is lower now than it was before.”\n\nMost studies agree the median time from the onset of symptoms to an admission to an intensive care unit is about 10 days. Trump already proved that it's not lethal. Stop the freaking hysteria Well if it is the result of missed cases in the beginning then that is the complete and utter incompetent government not using the technology at hand to actually test for Coronavirus using the correct virology system required. Instead this is the Scamdemic narrative to doomsday
