A former Brisbane promo model turned drug trafficker has again walked free from court for possessing ice, despite breaching her four-and-a-half year suspended jail term.

Hannah Renae Page, 29, entered pleas of guilty at Brisbane Supreme Court on Friday to two counts of possessing dangerous drugs, committed within just two days of each other back in June.

Court proceedings had to be cancelled on Thursday after Page appeared to be to be under the influence of drugs. On Friday her defence lawyer, Michael Copley, explained she had taken anti-anxiety medication prior to her appearance. Mr Copley told the court Page, whose dysfunctional upbringing had led to drug addiction, had made genuine attempts at rehabilitation in the past.Mr Copley explained his client possessed the drugs for personal use, not commercial. Justice Peter Davis activated the remaining three years of Page’s suspended sentence but released her on parole.“There are circumstances here when properly understood … should lead to a result that you ought not serve actual custody,” Justice Peter Davis.
