Treasurer Josh Frydenberg says the lockdown extension is “tough news” for the people of New South Wales, which is why the government has provided a “big boost” in support for both households and businesses.

“This level of support will come at a really important time and at a tough time for so many millions of people across New South Wales,” he told Sky News host Paul Murray. “With that income support and that business support we haven’t seen the large numbers of people at this stage go onto the unemployment benefits.”

JoshFrydenberg Last week it was revealed the Dutch Government in March 2020 knowingly sacrificed 520.000 QALY to save 100.000 by locking down. The report came from the Dept of Econ Affairs and CBS (Statistics Bureau). Has the NSW Government made such a risk/benefit analysis?

JoshFrydenberg Little Josh - urinating all over his home state merely because it’s a Labor government, but snivelling to Morrison re financial assistance to NSW. He’ll pay a big political price for his perfidy
