More than 1000 NSW Police officers will be out in force on the weekend to crush planned anti-lockdown protests in Sydney.

NSW Police have intercepted information suggesting another “rally for freedom” will likely go ahead on Saturday, three weeks after a similar protest took place.

Police Minister David Elliott said “we cannot underestimate how dangerous” the proposed rally will be to the community. “There are plenty of ways for you to express your emotions right now without putting people’s lives at risk.
