Israel Folau has sensationally claimed the nation's bushfire and drought emergencies are God's punishment for legalising abortion and same-sex marriage.
The sacked Wallabies star made the claim while delivering a sermon at his Kenthurst church in Sydney's north-west at the weekend. The devout Christian said the timing of the disasters was not a coincidence and warned the worst was yet to come unless the nation "repents".
