In a video posted to the Facebook page for The Truth of Jesus Christ Church Sydney in Kenthurst, former Wallabies star Israel Folau can be seen warning the NSW bushfires and drought were a 'little taste of God's judgment that's coming' | MeganGorrey

Six people have died and 476 homes have been destroyed in fires throughout the state since the start of this year's bushfire season.

"The world, I'm speaking to Australia right now, they've come and changed this law. They've changed that law and now they've legalised same-sex marriage." "What you see right now in the world is only a little taste of God's judgment that's coming, it's not even a big thing."

MeganGorrey Such a scared little guy, trying to justify his own opinion through utilising his belief and mashing it up with actual real-world events. Go easy on him. He doesn't know what relent is!

MeganGorrey Similar to the preaching of Catholic priests of years gone by where they preached ' similar stuff' to parishioners with their fire and brimstone threats.

MeganGorrey Channeling the old testament 🤣🤣🤣

MeganGorrey I am not sure what is happening here. He is in his church, preaching to his congregation. Why the outrage? That's religious freedom right there.

MeganGorrey So where are all you muppets now that thought the ARU was wrong for sacking this fool?

MeganGorrey We'll that's one way of drawing attention away from the gov woeful response to the bush fire/climate change issue. Not sure his observations have been peer reviewed yet though.

MeganGorrey What a bloody dingus

MeganGorrey God during the Armenian Genocide, The Holocaust, Cancer in kids: “No problem here” Two dudes get married “Burn it all”

MeganGorrey He is speaking clearly thing is there are consequencenfor actions fight aga8nstmGod and the consequence is devistat8ng

MeganGorrey He’s lost the plot

MeganGorrey What of all the animals that burned to death. Was god punishing them too for their vast evils?

MeganGorrey Oh IzzyFolau, you're a bit of a tool aren't you. I wonder how much you'll get for your court cases now?

MeganGorrey Is it just me or this guy can’t really talk, he talks like a scared child.

MeganGorrey Dear Media, Stop giving this bigot and his puerile views the attention he craves. Let him shout his views into the void auspol

MeganGorrey So glad this prick isn't representing Australia

MeganGorrey Medieval superstition and prejudice has no place in our society. It's dangerous and destructive.

MeganGorrey Well surely there’s only ONE person we can turn to. timminchin , are you near a piano?

MeganGorrey It is more about God’s judgement of how we have abused his creation, The Earth?

MeganGorrey God punishes innocent people. Yep, good one God!

MeganGorrey Feel sorry for Folau. He has tattoos and that's against the book be reads. To hell he goes. Apparently. Feel more sorry for his wife who has to put up with his crap.

MeganGorrey With half the community supporting the Global Warming explanation for the fires can either or perhaps both be right?

MeganGorrey How dare he, this self appointed 'voice of God', just who does he think he is. People have lost their lives, the fire fighters are exhausted, homes lost AND MOST FIRES DELIBERATELY LIT. He is nobody's hero, just a fool who will try any stunt to stay in the public eye. Sickening.

MeganGorrey AlanJones Alan you are obviously a huge supporter of Israel Folau, both in his rugby ability & as a Spokesperson for God! Question, is Israel aware of your sexuality? If yes, have your opened your heart to God? If no & he finds out, all hell will break out

MeganGorrey This superstition of Folau’s is just absurd. It could just as easily be interpreted as a punishment for those that voted against marriage equality

MeganGorrey Looks like a prime candidate for One Nation, time for Pauline to strike.

MeganGorrey Jeez, this guy has had too many bumps to the head

MeganGorrey For goodness sake STOP giving this guy oxygen. If we don’t pay attention to him he might just go away from a lack of attention. That’s all he wants, stop pandering to this nonsensical individual. Please 🙏🏻

MeganGorrey Folau's cult laughing at the free publicity

MeganGorrey Really not cool to judge the mentally retarded - almost starting to feel sorry for the poor guy.

MeganGorrey He is a Self righteous arrogant Person. He should get out there & do something towards helping those who do the Hard work to save people's property & lives. Utmost disrespect to all the victims who've lost their properties and for those who've lost their loved ones. Shame on U

MeganGorrey Why are we still reporting about him? There are bigger stories to follow and know about other than a raging fanatics ideologies.

MeganGorrey you can bet he's into the world-is-flat idea

MeganGorrey Intellectual giant 😂🤦🏼‍♂️ . But seriously, why is this even being reported on? Nobody writes articles every time my goldfish does another lap around the tank.

MeganGorrey Who cares it’s his life he can believe in whatever he wants!

MeganGorrey Haha 😂 angry magical sky daddy.

MeganGorrey He’s right ya know... We gonna fry

MeganGorrey Not news.

MeganGorrey Hey Folau - how come Gods taken 2 plus years to bring about the fires in response to SSM?

MeganGorrey Fool... Dangerous fool

MeganGorrey When the second coming arrives..we shall see then who is dumb and stupid and who will go to heaven and believe.

MeganGorrey Only reason you’d report this is an article on mental illness

MeganGorrey He’s trolling and people are so easily falling into the trap, frothing at the mouth.

MeganGorrey Raving lunatic should be locked up

MeganGorrey Hateful man who clearly doesn't know the Bible. FakeChristian

MeganGorrey His God will judge him harshly for his lack of empathy and humanity.

MeganGorrey

MeganGorrey The nutter has about 20 followers

MeganGorrey His “sermon” was a number of bible verses cherry-picked to substantiate his argument. All taken out of context. The bible can be made to appear to support anything when misused like he does.

MeganGorrey O M G !

MeganGorrey This what you're asked to believe: 1. God is completely and totally incapable of writing an unambiguous message in English. 2. Yet, he's capable of lighting fires in hot, dry drought conditions - to punish people who may or may not have voted against same-sex marriage ...

MeganGorrey How about the people who blame “Climate change” for the fires? That’s far more stupid than what Folau has allegedly said?

MeganGorrey O, God...I am so screwed...I think I only missed 1 or 2 commandments... & only those accidentally...

MeganGorrey The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. Proverbs 27:12

MeganGorrey God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. Psalm 68:6 | NIV

MeganGorrey He’s just so dumb I can feel brain cells dying just glancing at this photo

MeganGorrey Fuck me. If I had to listen to this shit I'd set myself on fire...

MeganGorrey U ppl r just as stupid as he is

MeganGorrey Weirdest thing in Australia to notice when a Tongan woman organizing a Christian meet-up in ANU campus residence. As if it was already not weird enough to have Pagan Europeans follow a Jewish Rabbi reinvented as son of God, now Pacific Islanders going loco on Jewish Rabbi story..

MeganGorrey Nonsense. Its far more likely to be caused by the consumption of shellfish and the wearing of mixed fibre fabrics. If Leviticus is to damn us, its far more likely in a land of shrimp and polycotton.

MeganGorrey Thick as a brick.

MeganGorrey Disappointing comments he has made.

MeganGorrey If you believe in God, wouldn’t you think he (given he’s all powerful) (aka God) would target his “culprits” rather than toasting 100’s of koalas in the bush?

MeganGorrey Cringe

MeganGorrey delusional

Or teenagers That would be a change, given that as far as I have heard all of the fires in the last week or so cannot be attributed to lightning strikes. Check for yourself. Could rain too.
