Facebook backflips on a decision to remove a series of ads posted by Senator Elizabeth Warren, who has vowed to break up America's biggest technology companies.

Facebook has restored a series of advertisements attacking the social media giant, authored by Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren,"in the interest of allowing robust debate".Facebook confirmed the ads were removed due to the presence of its corporate logo

In a pre-election pitch to rein in the influence of tech giants, Senator Warren last week vowed to break up Amazon, Google and Facebook if elected president, to promote competition in the technology sector. A series of advertisements placed by Senator Warren's campaign on the social media platform shortly after warned:"Three companies have vast power over our economy and our democracy. Facebook, Amazon and Google."

However, the videos purportedly breached Facebook's advertising policies due to the presence of its well-recognised 'F' logo.

Should social media reaction change the way we report fatal car crashes? It is common for people to criticise how serious car crashes are reported, especially on social media, so where should journalists draw the line? Let's be honest..everyone wants to get that gruesome closeup pic but in reality and morally.. we should report with facts and images but not to the point of wanting to see the actual dead body. It is too easy nowadays to get our phones,,see an accident and take a picture to post. Should be more worried about preventing them from happening. The Hume Highway and the M5 have a ridiculous amount of speeding idioc drivers on it and there is NO speed cameras and NO police. TransportforNSW
