The man dubbed 'Dr Doom', US-based economist Nouriel Roubini, is warning that the world faces a 'perfect storm' of high inflation, rising interest rates and recession that will be 'the worst of all worlds for workers'.

Space to play or pause, M to mute, left and right arrows to seek, up and down arrows for volume.'Perfect storm of recession, stagflation and debt' ahead: Nouriel Roubiniabc.net.au/news/nouriel-roubini-warns-of-stagflation-crisis/102045718The man dubbed "Dr Doom", US-based economist Nouriel Roubini, is warning that the world is facing a "perfect storm" of high inflation, rising interest rates and recession that will be "the worst of all worlds for workers".

But Dr Roubini expects things to get much worse across the so-called advanced economies as the year unfolds. "The latest numbers on inflation coming from the US and Europe, and other advanced economies, showed that inflation now is quite sticky. "So I expect that we're going to have a recession in the US and Europe, in other advanced economies, at a time where inflation is not back to 2 per cent."Worse than the garden variety stagflation the world endured through much of the 1970s and early-1980s, Dr Roubini expects this to evolve into a "great stagflationary debt crisis" — combining some of the worst elements of the '70s with the global financial crisis.

Cmon everyone at once 'THANK YOU BIDEN!' ..Now I will say this when do we say enough is enough and imoeach this clown ..him and kamala both are useless

Good Ol' Dr. Doom!! He has predicted 37 of the past 3 recessions!

Roubini is always making predictions - even a broken clock is correct twice a day. He needs to get vested in crypto!!!

After 14 years of unrestrained and unproductive spending corrections corrections have to be made. Much pain will follow and everybody will blame everybody else.

I've looked into his GFC predictions. He's doing the same thing now. He's got a foot in each probability

See Edward Dowd. Says the USA dollar might be ready to tank.
