The Victorian Government drops controversial clauses in its omnibus bill which would have allowed it to give anyone the power to detain another person they suspected would breach health directives.

The Victorian Government has ditched part of its controversial omnibus bill, after mounting criticism from legal professionals and crossbench MPs.A provision which would have allowed authorised officers to detain people on the basis of suspicion will be removed

The Government will also specify the powers that Victoria Police and WorkSafe officers would have under the new legislation. "Make no mistake, this has only come about because of the Liberals and Nationals together with crossbench members standing up to Daniel Andrews and telling him this is wrong. "It's completely gutless and weak of Daniel Andrews to do a press conference and then release this information once the press conference is finished," he said.

His amount of inexplicable fatigue, stress, anxiety and devastation Daniel Andrews has inflicted on all Victorians should be a minimum of resigning and at most a hope he will legally held accountable and imprisoned.

It’s disturbing that these psychopaths even considered it.

Good!
