An off-duty police officer allegedly returned a high-range positive breath test following a crash with another vehicle during school pickup time on Wednesday.

Emergency services were called to a crash between a Honda sedan and Hilux ute in Ashcroft, about 35 kilometres south-west of Sydney, on Wednesday about 3:30pm.
